Sue

Dr. Sue Mulhall (PhD, MEd, BBS, DipPM, MCIPD) is a director of Thesis Upgrade and Upgrade Education Limited. She is an accomplished academic and an experienced research supervision expert. Sue has a proven track-record of encouraging thousands of students to excel in their studies. She enjoys sharing her extensive educational expertise to support researchers completing their dissertations and capstone projects. Sue helps students along all stages of their research journey. Her passion is helping people collect qualitative data. She enjoys teaching students how to structure interviews and questioning techniques to generate rich results and credible findings.

Her award-winning research, disseminated in academic journals, college texts and at scholarly conferences, has been widely cited. Sue has published four peer-reviewed papers on career success, written four book chapters about human resource development and presented her research at 12 international conferences. In addition, she has reviewed business textbooks and journal articles for global publishers. As a specialist in human resource management, Sue delivers master classes on contemporary workplace issues at practitioner seminars and workshops. She also contributes regularly to mainstream and social media on education and management issues. Sue holds a variety of institutional memberships, including being a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Previously, Sue lectured human resource management at the Technological University Dublin for 13 years. Before that, she was a director of a training, consulting and coaching business, People Matters Limited, for 15 years. Sue also spent a decade as a human resource practitioner in the public, private and non-profit sectors in Ireland.
