Mark Campbell (MBA, BSc, DipAMT, PGCertAP, DipNS, PGCertT&L, MMII) is an experienced thesis supervision expert. He is a Director of Upgrade Education Limited and Thesis Upgrade. Mark tutors at the Open University (Science Technology Engineering and Maths Faculty, School of Engineering and Innovation). He also researches and teaches at the South East Technological University (SETU) and Griffith College Dublin.
Mark holds a Master in Business Administration (Technology Management) (MBA) from the Open University; Bachelor of Science (Management) (BSc) degree from Trinity College Dublin; Diploma in Advanced Marketing Techniques (Dip Adv Mkt Tech) from the Technological University Dublin; Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PG Cert AP) and Diploma in Natural Sciences (Dip Nat Sci) from the Open University; and Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning from SETU.
As an experienced thesis supervision expert, Mark helps students successfully research their dissertations, from start to finish. His particular specialism is preparing people for their viva voce examination. He helps students defend their research by practicing answers to challenging questions and doing realistic dry runs.
His institutional participation includes being a Member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland and is a candidate for a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (United Kingdom). Prior to entering academia, Mark worked as Head of Marketing and Communications at Deloitte and was Director of People Matters Limited. In these roles, he acted as a media spokesperson on areas such as marketing and innovation. Mark’s research interests are in leadership and management development, and technological innovation management. His research has been presented at both scholarly and practitioner conferences.
